Jacaltenango is located in northern Guatemala, near the Mexican border. Warm air from Mexico allows farmers to grow these beans at higher altitudes which delivers slow growth, high caffeine and a complex array of fruity notes and sweet aromas. Coffee berry sweetness appears in the espresso shot along with some green apple acidity, but it is the buttery toasted notes that we love so much.
